MoGen Alumna Featured in U of T News

MoGen undergraduate alumni Shilo Chislett was recently featured in a recent University of Toronto story highlighting her work to inspire youth in STEM in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut.

Through the NSERC Indigenous Student Ambassadors program, Chislett returned to her hometown to share her educational journey and highlight pathways available to students from northern and remote communities.

Chislett was a student in MGY381 during her time at U of T and has continued to make an impact through her commitment to science outreach and community engagement. We are proud to see members of our extended MoGen community making a difference and serving as role models for the next generation of scientists.
