The University of Toronto’s MSc Program in Genetic Counselling will host various sessions throughout the year geared towards those interested in learning more about the profession and/or the University of Toronto (U of T) program.
Information Day
This event occurs once a year in November. Its focus is to provide prospective students with an overview of the profession, the program, information on the application process and an opportunity to ask current students and alumni questions during an interactive Q&A session (i.e. break-out rooms). Registration for this event is required and will open in October. To be added to the email list, please email mscgc.inquiries@sickkids.ca.
If you were unable to attend our info sessions, we encourage you to watch the different talks by clicking the respective links below.
A member of the program leadership team will be available for virtual “office hours” once a month from 4:00pm – 5:00pm EST. This is an opportunity to bring questions regarding the U of T program and the application process. Please note: we will not review application material. These sessions are open to all. Please see dates and link below to join.
University of Toronto Genetic Counselling Program alumni will be available for an informal virtual drop-in discussion on the second Thursday of every month from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm EST. This is an opportunity to ask questions about the U of T program and hear the perspective of former students. Please note that we will not review application material or answer questions about the interview process. These sessions are open to all. Please see the dates and link below to join.
