Class of 2021 Valedictorian Mfon Udoh-Orok Featured by the Temerty Faculty of Medicine

Congratulations to Mfon Udoh-Orok, the first valedictorian of the M.H.Sc in Medical Genomics Program and a bioinformatician at the Clinical Genomics Center at Mount Sinai Hospital, who has been featured by the Temerty Faculty of Medicine as one of the Faces of UofT Medicine. The feature piece highlights Mfon’s experience studying and working during the COVID-19 pandemic, noting how the pandemic has highlighted the need for skilled geneticists like Mfon and his classmates in both research and clinical fields. Mfon also speaks about his current role at Mount Sinai Hospital, and gives his insights on the future of medical genomics.
