Award Duration: 16 weeks
Award Value: $6,000 + $3,296 top-up from your supervisor.

Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
Registered full-time/part-time in a bachelor’s degree program
Must have completed, at the time of application, a minimum of two academic terms/semesters
First-year students are excluded from the competition.
Must have obtained, over the previous years of study, an average grade of B or B-
Complete the Summer Research Awards Management System (SumRAMS) form. Please direct any questions regarding undergraduate summer research awards to medicine.hse@utoronto.ca. Additional information is available on the URO's website.
If you are internally awarded a USRA, you and your supervisor must complete and finalize your portions of the application on NSERC’s online system.
