My laboratory focuses on histones and their role in epigenetic inheritance. Histones organize DNA by forming nucleosomes. They influence chromatin structures and gene expression. We aim to understand how epigenetic information found on histones is transmitted through cell division, and how the process goes awry in a number of diseases.
