We study the role of nutrient transporters, in signalling and metabolic homeostasis. The surface expression of many amino acids transporters is dependent on N-glycosylation in the ER and modifications in the Golgi and plays a role in inflammation and cancer. Methods include genetic modification by CRISPR/Cas and proteomics using cultured cells and mice.
