After a hiatus, the Molecular Genetics Graduate Student Association (GSA) relaunched its alumni spotlights! In their latest one, GSA VP Mallory Wiggans interviews Dr. Joby McKenzie, the Managing Director of Teladoc Health, a telemedicine and virtual health company. She obtained her Ph.D. from the MoGen Department in 2007 working in Dr. John Dick’s lab. Dr. McKenzie also received an MBA from Western, and worked in at LifeLabs, Boston Consulting Group and Babylon Health before her current position. She discusses why she chose to do a research-based graduate degree, career and academic advice for those looking at a similar career path and more!
