The U.S. National Academy of Sciences has honoured Professors Brenda Andrews and Lewis Kay as international members. They were two of just 26 scientists to receive the recognition, joining a total of 501 scientists from countries outside the U.S. Dr. Andrews is the director of the Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research, and a professor of Molecular Genetics at U of T. Dr. Kay is a professor of Molecular Genetics, Chemistry and Biochemistry at U of T, and a senior scientist at SickKids Research Institute.
