We study the organizational principles of tumors with the goal of therapeutically exploiting these principles to develop better cancer treatments. To gain a holistic view of tumor organization, we aim to develop computational and experimental approaches to spatial biology that identify the most robust patterns and interactions across scales, test their essentiality, and the functional consequences of perturbing them.
