The Department creates a new scholarship
The Department of Molecular Genetics has created a brand new scholarship that will support Black and Indigenous students in the first years of their graduate training. We are hoping to attract Black and Indigenous Canadian students to our graduate programs (research, Medical Genomics, and Genetic Counselling). The goal is to support students from backgrounds that are under-represented in basic biomolecular research in the first years of their graduate training. We are aiming to reflect the diversity of people in Toronto in our vibrant community of researchers, and we welcome applicants from under-represented backgrounds with this new opportunity.
